Dr. Dharmesh "Dan" Bhakta, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Bhakta joined the staff at Accent Podiatry Associates in July of 2002. Dr. Bhakta completed his undergraduate work at the University of California at Riverside, majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Mathematics. He then pursued his podiatric medical degree at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California and received his degree in 2000. Dr. Bhakta continued his post-graduate training by completing a podiatric internship at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York that involved hospital and community podiatric medicine. Dr. Bhakta also participated in a podiatric surgical residency at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, New Jersey. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot-ankle Surgeons. In additon, he is Wound Care Certified (WCC) by the Woundcare Education Institute. Dr. Bhakta is actively involved in the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association (TPMA) as well. Dr. Bhakta specializes in pediatric foot care, reconstructive surgery, sports injuries, limb salvage and wound care. He also specializes in peripheral nerve disease. www.aens.us In his leisure time, Dr. Bhakta enjoys golfing and helping out in the community.

Dr. Keyvan Ganz, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Ganz joined Accent Podiatry group in January 2006 after leaving a private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to private practice, Dr. Ganz completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship in Miami, Florida where he worked treating athletic injuries for the NBA’s Miami Heat, NCAA’s University of Miami, Barry University and high school athletic teams, as well as athletes competing in Walt Disney’s Wide World of Sports. Dr. Ganz completed his surgical residency at Englewood hospital in Englewood, N.J., where he first met Dr. Bhakta. He performed abundant surgery cases and community practice treatment for an urban and suburban population. Dr. Ganz completed his medical training at Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He did undergraduate study at University of Maryland at College Park, where he received his bachelor’s of science degree in neurobiology and physiology. Dr. Ganz is a Fellow of the American College of Foot-Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS). Dr. Ganz is an associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM). He is very passionate about his interest in sports and sports medicine, and as a lifelong Cowboys fan, who grew up in Washington, D.C., he is happy to finally be on home turf. Dr. Ganz specializes in orthotic management for both athletes and non-athletes, pediatric podiatry, and sports medicine.

Dr. Shae Paschal, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Paschal joined Accent Podiatry Associates in October 2009 after completing a three year surgical residency in Miami, Florida. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then moved to south Florida, where he completed his medical training at Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. After podiatry school, Dr. Paschal completed a three year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Jackson North Medical Center, a Jackson Memorial health care affiliate. Dr. Paschal is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association. He specializes in forefoot and reconstructive surgery, trauma, sports injuries, limb salvage and wound care. Dr. Paschal is very happy to be back home in Texas!

Jacob Jasper, D.P.M., A.A.C.F.A.S.

Dr. Jasper completed his undergraduate training at Arizona State University in Tempe, Az. He graduated Cum Laude in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. He then went on to complete his 4-year medical training at Midwestern University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale, Az. After receiving his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine, he attended the highly regarded Baylor Scott and White Medical Center located in central Texas where he spent three years in extensive surgical training and education in forefoot and rearfoot/ankle reconstructive surgery. He served as the chief resident during his third year of training. His surgical residency consisted of a wide variety of patients including: congenital deformities in pediatric patients, trauma, sports medicine, and diabetic limb salvage. He currently is an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Jasper is married to Kalli and they have three wonderful children. Prior to his medical training, he had the opportunity to do a service mission in Southern Italy. He embraced Italian food and now loves cooking true Italian cuisine for his family. He also enjoys helping out in the community and spending time with his family and friends.

Steve Silvey, LPT, CWC

Steve completed his degree in physical therapy at Daemen College in Amherst, New York in 1996. In addition to being a physical therapist, Steve is also a certified wellness coach. Having worked with the athletic population since earning his physical therapy degree, Steve enjoys providing exercise-based programming for injury prevention and rehabilitation. Currently providing both electromyograms and nerve conduction studies, Steve plans to pursue a residency program this year in clinical electrophysiology. Steve is a member of the Texas Physical Therapy Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
