Dr. Frank J. Rodriguez Jr. specializes in sports medicine and joint replacement at AOA Orthopedic Specialists in Arlington and Mansfield. Upon his graduation from New Mexico State University in 1984, he was drafted to the San Antonio Spurs during the 1984 NBA Draft. Instead of joining the NBA, Dr. Rodriguez attended Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and graduated in 1988. He completed his internship and residency at Bexar County Hospital District and went back to the University of Texas HSC to complete his fellowship in 1994. As a former collegiate athlete, he understands how difficult sports injuries can be and he’s here for any of your sports medicine needs.
